Lansing Chess Club Events Schedule 2008

Mini Swiss Monthly Tournament All tournaments are 3 rounds under the swiss pairing system. There are multiple sections, each with 8-12 players based on rating. Time control is G90. Round times are 10:00am, 1:00pm, and 4:30pm. Entry fee is $21. Registration is from 9am-9:45am. Prizes are $75—1^st, $48—2^nd each section, $100 to any player who scores 3 points. 2nd each section--$74 + trophy

Class Prizes: X, A, C, D/unr—1^st--$50 + trophy; 2^nd--$24

Weekly Events
1. The Club meets weekly on Friday evening from 7-11pm at the North Neighborhood Center, 747 W. Maple, Lansing, in the gym. There are rated quads most weeks at a time control of G30. Entry fee is $6, prize of $15 to weekly winner of each quad. Click Here to request more info.
