Dave has relocated barns all over the country. One of his favorite adventures was leading 200 volunteers in raising a barn he brought from Michigan at the National Building Museum in Washington, D.C.

These “old-fashioned barn-raisings” are great fun for all.... People just love to come together and create something so beautiful and historic, and Dave looks forward to any opportunity to meet and work with fellow barn-lovers.

There are as many uses for a relocated barn as there are types of barn. Historic barns that Dave has relocated have become beautiful and unique homes, places of business, community meeting spaces and storage facilities, as well as traditional working barns.
