Welcome to the ACD.net Support Center. Here at the Support Center we will try to address the most common questions our internet support technicians are asked. There are some problems that are quite common, caused by factors ranging from the simple--such as the behavior of certain hardware and software on a user's machine--to the more ominous and complex--such as the functionality of the Internet itself. It is important to note that ACD.net is not responsible for issues related to a customer's computer, software, or phone line. If you require support for your computer or its software you will need to contact your computer vendor. If you are having a problem with your phone line or inside wiring you will need to contact your local phone company or your wiring contractor. The articles provided on this site are designed to help customers identify the source of their problem.
This site is designed to try to help you determine the cause of your problem, or at least eliminate possible variables. Most problems have several different causes, so finding out what the problem isn't is the first step towards finding out what it is.
The links to the left will take you to various support knowledge base articles that will help most folks troubleshoot their problem. This site is a dynamic entity (or at least I hope it will be), so articles may shift around due to customer feedback, and new articles will be added as needed.
If you are unable to find what you're looking for in the support articles--or if you just would rather talk to a live person--feel free to contact our support department toll-free at 877-4ACDNET (877-422-3638). Our technical support hours are as follows:
Monday - Wednesday: 7am - 9pm
Thursday & Friday: 7am - 8pm
Saturday: 9am - 5pm
Sunday: 11am - 5pm
If you need support after the above posted hours, you can email support at support@acd.net. Emails to support should be answered within 24 hours. You can also leave a voicemail after hours, and your message will be returned at the earliest opportunity. Please call and leave a message if you ever have a problem, no matter what the time of day or night. Voicemails are used in call tracking to help determine if extended support hours are needed.
When contacting support, please have the following information available:
- First and last name
- What type of service you have with ACD.net (dialup, DSL, etc)
- Username, email address, or customer number you have with our company
- Any error message you are getting
If you are leaving a message in our voicemail, please include a brief explanation of your problem, as well as a callback number where you can be contacted.
