Bill Cullen was a regular
presence in more than thirty different network television series, more
than any other performer in any genre in the history of television programming.
Those series in which he was featured as a regular, including some obscure
local shows, are listed below alphabetically. For their place chronologically,
see the TIMELINE. Except where noted, Bill hosted
the series.
Since the focus is on Bill, earlier,
later or different versions of shows he hosted (To Tell the Truth,
The Price Is Right and Blockbusters just to name a few) are
not discussed in detail. We've tried to sort through contradictory
and conflicting information (especially for the earlier shows) to come
up with the most accurate specifics possible. For example, one source
(Alex McNeil's Total Television) lists Bill as one host for the syndicated
game show PDQ. According to our best information, this
is not true, so PDQ does not appear on this site.
