BEAT THE CLOCK

(Lowell 1954) Two editions, plus Junior Edition (1955)
[Second edition is The New Beat The Clock.]
[Bud Collyer on cover of all Lowell versions. Roxanne on cover of first edition only.]
    (MB 1969) Two editions
    (Endless Games 1999)
The props and booklet of stunts in the Endless version are identical to the original 1954 edition.

    (Goodson-Todman 1951)
A tiny booklet of forty party stunts you can play at home.  Plugs throughout for the sponsor, Sylvania.  Despite a ten cent cover price, this was likely a premium mailed to viewers as a promotional campaign.

    (Valentine Dolls 1950s)
A doll modelled after Roxanne, Bud Collyer's attractive assistant who took photographs of the contestants.  The 18" doll walks and comes with her own toy camera.  A highly prized and rare collectable today, fetching over a hundred dollars on eBay.

    (Subway Polka):
Taken from the Harry Geller and his Orchestra album New York, New York (RCA 1955)
On the CD The Best of TV Quiz and Game Show Themes (Varese Sarabande 2000)
Probably used as the theme in the late fifties, after the original Hickory, Dickory, Dock theme and before the show moved to ABC in 1958, although one reference book suggests it was used longer.
