It's Academic is a franchised TV quiz format seen at the local level in markets around the country, usually played by teams of area high school students.  The most famous version has been running in the Washington, D.C. area for decades.  We're told there's a picture of this obscure quiz book in the Feb/Mar 1990 issue of GAMES Magazine.
